Note and reflections:
P' Lek and I decide to bike to catch the last day of Thailand Festival at Daley Plaza today. Passing through a crowded traffic in downtown, we get in time to see Thai dance shows and walk around for see exhibitions. There are lots of people at the festival for the lunch, though I think that the number of vendors are a bit few (~12-15). We do not sampling any food there. We escape to see an oil Painting Exhibition in Daley Civic Center by a Taiwanese artist. It is pretty nice exhibition of painting of aborigine tribal people in Taiwan in various activities. This reminds me of our hill tribal people in Thailand.

We continue biking down to Public Library to pick up some books and turn our way back to millennium Park to get P' Lek's bike repaired. The bike guy actually shows us how to change a tube. We head to Chinatown for Dim Sum at Happy Chief restaurant, though phoenix is closed to Dim Sum at 3p (we get there around 3:10). After our stomach are full, we go to get some books at CPL Chinatown branch, and divert our way back to Hyde Park. Just a mile or so before getting back home. We are hit with a strong wind and t-storm. We shelter in a rest room until the rain stops before continue our ride. Just before tunnel on 55th street, a big tree is broken apart by the wind, blocking the tunnel. Lucky us that we stop.

The day has not ended yet; we continue with some games of squash, and I go to do stretching and lifting weight. A good day for outdoor but not for work.
