headphones gone bad

This pair of headphones [วิ่งไม่หยุด: Sennheiser PMX 70 Sport] is getting bad. Sometimes, I can only hear from one side (since last month) and now the cable become broken near the splitting point. I wrapped it up with a tape with Yu-Hsiang's help today. For the former, I think that it might due to the connection to my player, which is getting old.
